Feather Press
The Haarslev Feather Press removes water from chicken, goose and turkey feathers to achieve a consistent moisture level of about 55%. Installed after a feather separator or directly after pumping from the slaughterhouse, it typically removes 350 litres of water per 1,000 kg of wet feathers. Its sturdy cage, conical auger and hydraulic exit flap ensure reliable dewatering, reducing transport costs, energy consumption in rendering and overall feather-handling expenses.
