Hog Hair Press
The Haarslev Hog Hair Press removes large amounts of water from hog hair taken from slaughter lines, reducing weight by as much as 50%. This reduces transport costs as well as rolling back the energy needed for downstream rendering. A sturdy auger-driven design compresses the hair against a hydraulically resisted exit flap, ensuring reliable dewatering even when input material varies or contains foreign objects. Easy to install and operate, it provides fast ROI in both slaughterhouses and rendering plants.
