System for Automatic Return of Steam Condensate (SARC)

The Haarslev SARC system returns steam condensate from cookers and disc dryers directly to the boiler while still under pressure. By preventing flashing and water loss, it maintains stable boiler temperature, reduces fuel and water consumption and eliminates blow-offs. A pressurised tank with a wide-range pump unit enables efficient, low-loss transfer and is easy to integrate into existing steam and condensate circuits. Plants normally save as much as 15% on steam production costs, along with more reliable overall boiler performance.
